| Creativ Accessories |
|
Creativ Accessories was created in 1998 by Catherine Rocheford a textile designer, as the jewelry section of her business Creativ Textiles and Accessories. Catherine, a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design worked in New York as a textile designer for a short time before making the decision to return to Barbados in 1985
Designing and making jewelry started out as a hobby but quickly developed into a viable business through the many satisfied clients who, impressed with the quality and uniqueness of design, continually returned to have custom designed work made exactly to their specifications.
Catherine uses mostly natural beads, ranging from leather, brass, bone and wood for the ethnic look and semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls set in sterling silver and vermeil (22kt gold over sterling silver) for the high end custom made jewelry.
Her jewelry has adorned from brides to business women and her clients include some of Barbados top fashion designers such as Pat Brathwaite of Paju, Avark and Rojoe.

| Neahlis |
Lisa McIntosh’s creativity first took flight in the field of cosmetology, which she studied in Florida. Her distinguished career in this area, plus her love of fashion, led her to create Neahlis Designs, simply as a hobby to outfit her clients. That hobby has blossomed into a full-fledged business spanning over fifteen years. She draws her inspiration from her children along with her fashion Muses Naomi Campbell and mother Valerie Campbell, with whom she worked in London as a stylist.
Lisa blends Caribbean ad Oriental influences to create unique yet trendy designs, suited for women who are svelte or full-figured. She likes to work with n array of colours especially, he favorite green. Her preferred materials to work with are cottons, linens and Italian knits. Her talents were discovered and originally promoted by Saints International’s CEO and founder, Dewight Peters. In fact her collection at the recently staged Saints Int’l Style Week Jamaica 2005 & 2006, received raved reviews from visiting faculty members of the highly rated Parsons School of design in New York.
Neahlis’ pieces have been featured in many high-end local, regional and international publication including Buzz Magazine (Jamaica) Belle Magazine (base in Trinidad & Tobago) and Ave Magazine out of New York. In addition, Neahlis will be featured in the March 2007 publication of SHE Caribbean. As a cosmetologist ad fashion designer, Neahlis is a double threat and is now a major force to be reckoned with in Caribbean Fashion World. Now she is ready to take the rest of the world by storm. |

Pablo Palair discovered his passion for clothing at an early age and has since honed this passion into a skill for designing and creating interesting and exquisite clothing.
After leaving school at the tender age of 16 years he went on to learn the skill of tailoring in an apprenticeship program at Mr. Anthony Harry's tailor shop; here he stayed for 2 years. Having successfully learnt the skill Pablo ventured on his own in 1991 starting with three machines and sewing from home. Hungry to show his talent and build his clientele, Pablo moved to the city of Montego Bay in 1993 where he rented a store at 14 Strand Street. Business progressed really well until a fire destroyed the plaza which housed his store in July of 1999. Nothing was saved. With a determined spirit and an eagerness to succeed, Pablo did not let the mishap deter his efforts. In September of 1999, Pablo was back on his feet again when he relocated his business to his present address at 2 Barnett Street. Here he rebuilt his clientele and re-established himself in the world of fashion. Today, Pablo Palair Fashion boasts an employee base of eight (8) and a clientele which includes a variety of businesses such as Hotels and Banks as well as individuals.
In addition to catering for his unisex client base, Pablo also designs and sews a line of fashion for men. This ranges from casual wear to formal wear. His designs are inspired from a need to see people looking Adifferent@ and exquisitely dressed. Pablo has appeared on a few fashion shows where he introduced his line of fashion for men. He appeared on fashion shows alongside Uzuri International in Kingston, Montego Bay and most recently at Couples Resort in St. Mary. In September of 2006, Pablo teamed up with Jampro and showcased his clothing at a trade show in St. Kitts where he also represented Jamaica on a fashion show |
